Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes. I operate individual cremation only - your cat is cremated alone, with a traceable identification system from collection to return. I track the ID at every stage so you have complete peace of mind.

  • You can spend as long as you need in the Farewell Room. Some owners sit for an hour, some for several. There’s no rush. When you’re ready, I’ll take over with the same gentleness you’ve shown them.

  • Call me anytime - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I’ll advise you on keeping your cat comfortable until i can collect them, usually within a few hours. You can also see more information if this happens, on my blog.

  • Every breed, every age. From kittens to senior cats who’ve lived long, full lives. Each one matters equally.

  • Absolutely. The scatter tube is simply the standard option I include with every cremation - it’s practical, respectful, and suits many families who plan to release their cat’s ashes somewhere meaningful.

But if you’d prefer something more permanent, I have several alternatives.

Wooden Caskets - Beautifully crafted in a range of woods, perfect for keeping on a shelf or mantle.

Ceramic Urns - Elegant and timeless, available in various sizes.

Photo Urns - For customer looking for something a little bit more discrete, I have a range of urns which hold the ash inside photo frame.

Keepsake Jewellery - So you can keep a small part of them close, always.

You’re welcome to choose when I return your cat’s ashes, or if you’d like to see the options beforehand, just ask when you call. There’s no pressure either way - whatever feels right for you and your family is the right choice.

  • Yes, blankets, bedding and soft fabric items can absolutely stay with your dog. Many owners find comfort knowing their companion is wrapped in something familiar that smells of home.

A gentle note on toys: Soft toys without metal or plastic parts are usually fine, but anything with metal bells, plastic eyes, squeakers, or batteries can’t go into the crematorium - these items don’t burn and can damage the equipment. Rubber and hard plastic toys also can’t be cremated.

If you’re unsure about a particular itme, just ask me when we speak. I’m happy to check, and if something can’t be cremated, I’ll return it you you with you dog’s ashes so nothing precious is missing.

  • The cremation itself takes a couple of hours. I personally return your cat’s ashes to you within 72 hours, or they’re ready for collection - whichever you prefer.
